Rhonda Thomas

Nurse Practitioner

I am a native of Fayetteville, born and raised. My mother and all of my roots are based in Harnett County.  I was an ER nurse for over 17 years, I worked part-time in community health and wound care serving primarily Harnett County for many years, as well as a nursing education at Central Carolina Community College. I have served in many roles throughout my career in the ER and in the community as well as senior administrative roles at two major health systems in North Carolina. I attended Sampson Community College for my ADN, my undergraduate is from the University of Mount Olive, and I completed MSN and NP at Walden University in 2020 specializing in Acute Care and Adult Gerontology. I am very passionate about the care of the adult-geriatric population and community health. I have worked in Cardiology both inpatient and outpatient since my graduation in 2020. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and traveling.
